Description

The JAI Sweep SW-2005M-5GE is a compact and reliable CMOS monochrome line scan camera with 2K resolution. The camera features 7 μm x 7 μm pixels with a 5GBASE-T interface. With a maximum scan rate of 172 kHz, the camera can deliver a data throughput of up to 5 Gbps. It is ideal for applications like wood and print inspection, as well as other flexible web or rigid inspection applications. Additionally, it is well-suited for logistical tasks such as postal or barcode scanning.

With a compact size of 44mm x 44mm x 54mm, the camera is designed to fit into tight spaces and be easily integrated into existing setups without requiring significant modifications. Its C-mount lens compatibility offers a wide range of lens options for various applications.

The SW-2005M-5GE supports direct encoder connection with the Trigger Delay function, simplifying setup and enabling automatic scan direction detection. It is ideal for applications with sliding or moving slide tables, and encoder signals can be daisy-chained between cameras for seamless multi-camera integration.

Leveraging the 5GigE standard, the camera ensures high-speed data handling. With higher bandwidth than traditional GigE, it enables faster transfer rates for high-speed imaging, improving processing and throughput without the need for an expensive Machine Vision-specific frame grabber card.
